Flip the RS3 Grand Exchange with a plan.

RuneAssist for RuneScape 3 is an Alt1 Toolkit app. It reads your Grand Exchange window and tells you what to buy, what to sell, and when to change or cancel an offer. You still place every offer yourself.

Free. Needs Alt1 Toolkit on Windows. No account needed.

How it works

Reads your GE

With the Grand Exchange open, the app reads your slots, your offers' progress and the coins you hold, and follows each flip from buying to sold. Nothing to type in.

Suggests and guides

Cards fit your cash and free slots and how long you'll be away. A guide line and on-screen highlights show the next step. Click a card to copy the item name or a price to paste into the GE.

Watches your offers

It tells you when an offer has gone stale, when a buy is no longer worth it, and when to step a sale down to meet buyers. It also keeps your profit for today and all time.

Install

  1. Install Alt1 Toolkit and start it with RuneScape running.
  2. Click Add to Alt1 and accept. If nothing happens, open the Alt1 browser and paste alt1://addapp/https://runeassist.com/rs3/appconfig.json, or in Alt1 settings under Other turn enable alt1 links in browser off and on and try again.
  3. Allow the screen reading and overlay permissions it asks for. It needs both to read the GE and draw the highlights.
  4. Open the Grand Exchange in game. The panel shows your slots, then suggestions for your cash.

Beta: what to expect

  • The GE reader works at 100% interface scaling. Other scales are not supported yet.
  • On-screen highlights have been checked on a small number of setups. If one lands in the wrong place, tell us.
  • Prices and the rules for changing or cancelling offers are tuned from Old School data and are still being adjusted for RS3.
  • Profit and fill times are estimates from recent trades and can be wrong.

What it doesn't do

  • It never clicks, types, or places, changes or cancels an offer. Alt1 apps only read the screen and draw over it.
  • It does not read your bank, chat or account details, and it does not ask for your login.
  • It does not predict prices. It works from the last trades the RuneScape Wiki reports.
  • It is not affiliated with Jagex or with Alt1 Toolkit.

Privacy

Screen reading happens on your computer: no image of your game leaves it. To get suggestions the app sends runeassist.com your coin amount, how many GE slots are free, the items and quantities in your current offers, how long until you check back, and whether you are free-to-play. To check your offers it sends the item ids it is watching. Your IP address is seen by the server like any web request. No account, character name or login is sent. Your flip log and profit stats stay in Alt1's local storage on your computer.

Questions

Is it allowed?
Alt1 apps only read the screen and draw over it; they never send input to the game. RuneAssist keeps to that: every click and every offer is yours.
Does it cost anything?
No.
What about the RS3 tax?
Every margin and profit shown is after the 2% Grand Exchange tax. Items at 50 gp or less and bonds are tax-free.
I play Old School.
